Central Park Knitting and Finished Socks

A little late for Socktober, but I finally finished my Embossed Leaves Socks!! My very first pair of completed socks, you have no idea how exciting it is for me!!!

Pattern: Embossed Leaves Socks from Interweave Knits Winter 05
Yarn: Lanett Superwash Wool
Needles: size 1 1/2 Brittany birch dpn's. I love knitting with these needles until they inevitably break
Modifications: Needle size and number of cast-on stitches... I like tighter-knit fabric

Here's my swatch for the Central Park Hoodie:

Now I'm nearly finished with the back of the sweater:

I saw your post on SockKnitters and came to peek at your first socks!! GREAT JOB! I'm only on my second pair myself and finding it quite addicting! Great projects you have going. Cheers.

Embossed Leaves for your first pair of socks! WOW! They look great! This is probably my favorite sock pattern so far.

Here's to many more knitted pairs of socks!

The Lannett superwash is also wonderful...it gets so soft with washing!! (I think we shop at the same yarn shops...)
